The sad thing is, other than the putrid "Until There was Sue," that's a great setlist. I would have paid to see that if it wasn't the sickening cabaret.

Most definitely--in almost any other format, this would have been a MUST. NOT. MISS. set for me. You couldn't have paid me to go to the Cabaret, though, regardless of the set.

Agreed. And while I spent money on Cabaret, I was excited about the setlist because it had a lot of songs I had never heard live, Promised Land in particular. Everything going on around the songs was distracting to the point where it ruined several songs for me forever, namely HitnF and Hit the Black. Had they done away with all that and just played the songs I would have been much happier.

What is the first song you're referring to?

Indeed, the setlist looks cool, but from what I've seen as far as pictures go, it's maybe a good thing that this tour never hit Europe. Has anyone still got the "YOLO" picture of Geoff Tate? ;D

Thanks, my mistake. I meant Right Side of My Mind off Hear in the Now Frontier (HitnF). Sorry about that!

Well, you can keep on apologizing: "The Right Side of My Mind" is from Q2K! ;)
I actually saw a YT clip of that song off this tour a long time ago, isn't that the one with dwarves?

EDIT: the YOLO picture (posted here a few months ago, maybe in the defunct graphic thread I think) featured more or less this, but it's not exactly the same shot:

Pictures of Tate in that " costume" should be outlawed by the Geneva convention as forms of torture. Just brutal

When I first saw that picture of Tate I thought it was fake. I didnt think he would degrade himself and Queensryche to that level.
