Editor's Album Notes:

Hear in the Now Frontier was the last studio album Chris DeGarmo would contribute to until 2003's release of Tribe. The album was a radical departure from the layered, instrumental, dark vibe of 1994's Promised Land. Instead, the sound was much rougher, stripped down, less layered, and more commercial-oriented. "Sign of the Times" and "You" were the promoted singles on the album, receiving a good amount of airplay. "The Voice Inside" and "spOOL" were also labeled as singles, receiving limited if no airplay.

The album was remastered and re-released in 2003 with four bonus tracks, including three cuts from the MTV Unplugged sessions and the b-side, "Chasing Blue Sky."
