Editor's Album Notes:
Live Evolution was the first album released under the Sanctuary Records label. The band and label decided to celebrate their new relationship with a live career retrospective. Over a two-night stay at the Moore Theater in Seattle, Wash., the band recorded this slate of hits and other material. It is interesting to note that on the first night, the band had recording problems, so they had to scrap the entire first set. As a result, many of the cuts on this release are one takes, and Queensr˙che, unlike some other of today's bands, did not go back in the studio to clean up any mishaps. This release is pure, live, Queensr˙che.
This release came in the form of a two-disc CD set with all songs represented, and a shortened DVD edition.
