As the years have passed, and new records were released with different lineups, I noticed that much of the band's legacy was being re-written to fit whatever marketing scheme worked best at that time. As a dedicated fan of Queensr˙che and music history in general, that was a mistake I felt a responsibility to rectify. In the past, this site was known as "The Breakdown Room," but since its focus has shifted slightly, I re-named it accordingly. The message board, however, is still known as "The Breakdown Room" and is located at www.anybodylistening.net/breakdownroom. Come talk about the band with hundreds of the most knowledgeable fans around (for free, unlike Queensr˙che's official site)! Within the pages of AnybodyListening.net is a mountain of information on the band from its beginnings in Bellevue, Wash., through the unsuccessful reunion attempt of 2003's Tribe. While I do have sections on "Alternate Lineups," please note that this site's primary coverage is on Queensr˙che's original lineup, which consists of Geoff Tate, Chris DeGarmo, Michael Wilton, Ed Jackson, and Scott Rockenfield. Therefore, the "Alternate Lineups" page is not really current. I keep it online (accurate through about 2006) for fans that requested it. That said, I've been supportive of both Kelly Gray and Mike Stone - the two guitarists that followed Chris DeGarmo. Myself alone, I've seen 25 or so concerts with one of those two on guitar for Queensr˙che. The records Queensr˙che released with each of those guitar players have some good moments, but the true Queensr˙che spirit and sound was developed by the original band and this site's mission is to make sure that history is never forgotten. Site NavigationNavigating your way through AnybodyListening.net is fairly easy. The site is arranged in eras according to album cycles. The only exception is the text link called "Alt. Lineups," which is the page that details the non-original lineup years of the band. For example, if you wanted information on Queensr˙che's beginnings, you'd choose the "1981-1983" link. Once there, you'd receive detailed information on what was going on with the band during that time period, the official releases, tour dates (including set lists and photos when available), article scans from publications that wrote about Queensr˙che and much more! AnybodyListening.net is entirely fan-run and non-profit, striving only to archive the history of one of rock and metal's finest bands. Although the only "official" word regarding Queensr˙che's history can come from the band members themselves, please note that I have researched as thoroughly as possible to give you, fellow fans of Queensr˙che, the finest historical retrospective on the band as possible. Contact InfoAs you search around the site, you may end up having something Queensr˙che-related to share. A ticket stub perhaps? Some live photos, information on something I have missed? Or you might just have a question or comment. Whatever it is, please feel free to contact me at: CreditsI have so many people to thank in regard to the overall development of AnybodyListening.net. First, of course, is my wife, who as a fellow Queensr˙che fan and metalhead, understands the passion and devotion to the band and its musical history I have, and shares it. Thank you. Next, of course, to Queensr˙che - all of the band members, past and present. The music you've created is a source of continuing inspiration. And of course, there would be no tour archive without the efforts of Johan Wall. Thank you for laying the groundwork my friend. Personal thanks also to my friends Jeff Brown, Jonathan Rustvold, Robert Kotynksi, Marshal Schoener, Larry Fulkerson, Jeff and Wayne Douglas, Jason Slater, my parents and brother, and all those who either introduced me to Queensr˙che or shared in some great experiences with the band. I don't forget those times, and this site was built thinking of you guys and of those events. There have been literally hundreds of contributors to this site that I couldn't possibly name them all. Whether it was just contributing set lists, article scans, maintaining the message board, or simply putting up with all my endless questions and information gathering over the years, thanks to everyone. I just don't want to forget anyone, so please know if you contributed in any way to this site, I really hope you're happy with the ongoing results. I couldn't have done (or continue to do) it without your generosity and support. That said, special thanks to Adam S. (atreyu2112), Mick W. (Wardy), my wife, and Matt C. (DarkLordTrading) for letting me borrow or scanning what amounts to hundreds of articles for posting on the site. Your trust and extreme devotion to the ideals of this site and the band are very much appreciated. Without you guys, the site wouldn't be nearly as complete and informative.
