Live in Tokyo is an out-of-print (as of November 2006) VHS release that Queensr˙che released in 1985, after it had concluded the tour in support of The Warning. The release features live performances of the songs listed, taken from the band's first shows in Japan in August 1984.
The release showcases a hungry and youthful Queensr˙che that were just beginning to find their way among the heavy metal standouts of the early 1980s. Of particular note is the large "QR" banner behind the band - a prop never seen again on any Queensr˙che tour. Unfortunately for fans, not only has the banner never been seen again, but neither has this release. Although the audio from Live in Tokyo was remastered and included on the 2003 re-release of The Warning, the actual footage itself was only released on VHS and is no longer available officially.
